Episode 22 – The Colonel’s Bequest (unplugged)

In this weeks “Passion of the Geeks – Unplugged”, Pat continues talking about retro adventure games he holds dear with The Colonel’s Bequest – A Laura Bow Mystery by Sierra On-Line. 

A murder mystery adventure game that doesn’t rely on puzzles but another game mechanic. Not everyone was a fan so that the sequel was created as a more traditional adventure.

But the unique gameplay of The Colonel’s Bequest is exactly what makes this game so special.
